What our students say

Over 60 students have already joined our camps. Read about their experiences and how they benefited.

You wish it lasted longer than 3 months.

When I say you wish it lasted even longer than 3 months, that's the truth. It's so good. School is fun – honestly more fun than holidays. And it's in Medina. A relief for any soul – away from places and people that aren't so pleasant. I'm already considering joining the next camp while still here.

Very satisfied

I can really recommend the accommodation. You have everything you need – pharmacy or supermarket, all nearby. The Prophet's Mosque is about 10–15 min by car.

The lessons were excellent!

All praise to Allah, who allowed me to take part in this Arabic crash course. I'm very grateful that I could travel to Medina to learn Arabic. The atmosphere is very different from Germany: calmer, more spiritual, with a special warmth. The teaching was excellent. Even though the teacher only speaks Arabic, you understand him remarkably well. He has a lot of experience with students who don't speak Arabic and shows great patience. The brothers in the shared accommodation were very friendly. I can recommend going to Medina to anyone.

Very good

It was a great experience. The lessons with Shaykh Ahmad were excellent. Anyone who wants to learn Arabic should definitely come here!

FAQs

You might be wondering

The most common questions about the camps – at a glance.

Women generally study in the morning – typically 10:00–13:00. Men have lessons in the afternoon/evening, from around 16:00. The shuttle picks you up at the accommodation and brings you back after class. The number of hours depends on the booked course: • Standard course: 2 hours of Arabic + 1 hour of Quran • Intensive course: 4 hours of Arabic + 1 hour of Quran The rest of the day is yours to plan freely. These times are the baseline; course-specific changes are communicated before the course starts.

Men's Arabic course: no prior knowledge needed. Your level is determined on day 1 with a placement test – beginners and advanced learners are equally welcome. The intensive course adapts to the level of the group. Women's courses, depending on the course: • Online Reading & Writing: none – ideal as a starting point. • Arabic Intensive (on-site): read & write Arabic. • Speaking Intensive (on-site): read & write Arabic + basics.

Yes – we can usually arrange the visa for you against a small processing fee. Many of our students have already taken us up on this – brothers and sisters from different countries have come to Medina this way without any hassle. Alternatively, students are of course welcome to arrange the visa themselves if they prefer.

Every student who has been with us so far has performed their Umrah during the stay – some even did several. Even with larger groups this has worked out smoothly. We deliberately leave the organization of the Umrah to the students themselves: • Everyone has their own preferences on timing and number of Umrahs • The time spent in Mecca varies from person to person • Self-organized it's also significantly cheaper Some go on their own, others together with fellow students – it has always worked out really well. If you need support or info for planning, we're of course happy to help.
